Not long ago I saw a video testimony of a member of a gang in Chicago who was shot, “died,” and visited Hell before returning to his body. One of the many memorable features of his testimony was his realization after he left his body that he had taken his existence for granted when every moment of his life on earth had actually been a gift from God. This illusion that our existence belongs to us as our own personal property is actually part of Rene’ Descartes’ Luciferian legacy which overthrew the Aristotelian realism of St. Thomas Aquinas which recognized that existence is a gift of God to each and every one of His creatures.
