📖 What is Sacred Scripture?
The Holy Bible is not merely a collection of ancient religious writings. According to the perennial teaching of the Catholic Church, Sacred Scripture is the inspired written Word of God, written by human authors under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. God Himself is the principal Author, and everything He intended to reveal for our salvation is taught without error.
In this video, discover why Catholics believe the Bible is divinely inspired, how the Church recognized the canon of Sacred Scripture, and why Scripture must always be read in harmony with Sacred Tradition and the constant teaching of the Church.
