I started off by playing clips from William Lane Craig where he outright denies the eternal Sonship of Christ and believes that Jesus became God’s Son at his human conception. The man’s heresies are too many and outright dangerous. I then went on to refute the misuse of the book of Sirach by Muslims such as Korra who argue that it disrespects women. I use this to show God’s love for women, since he created them in his love and made them his image bearers.
Part II
General Revelation, Trinity in the “Apocrypha,” Misogyny in Sirach Refuted Pt. 2 – SHAMOUNIAN
I began by discussing general revelation and how God has placed truths in all cultures and religions, which we can then use to bring them to Christ. I then finished off my refutation to the assertion that Sirach degrades women. I proved from Genesis which Sirach depends on that God magnifies women by showing they are equal in dignity, glory and value with men. I also used Sirach to go into a super deep dive into the Deutero-Canonicals to prove the Trinity from these books, demonstrating how God’s uncreated Word and Wisdom became Jesus, and how Wisdom/Word work inseparably with the Spirit. This truly was a spiritual meat-fest by the grace of the Holy Spirit.
