🙏 What if God is calling your child to give his or her life more completely to Him?
Every Catholic parent wants a good future for a child. But beyond education, career, security, and worldly success stands a far greater question: What does God want for this soul?
A vocation is first a call from God. Within the Catholic home, children should learn to pray, seek God’s will, encounter holy examples, and become generous enough to answer Him freely.
⛪️ A son may be called to the sacred priesthood.
🕊 A daughter may be called to the religious life.
💍 Another child may be called to holy Christian marriage.
Parents are not called to choose a vocation for their children—or force them toward one. Their task is to form souls capable of discerning God’s will and, when His call becomes clear, to avoid placing worldly ambitions in its way.
Sometimes this requires sacrifice. The future God chooses for a child may not be the future his parents imagined. Yet one of the greatest gifts a Catholic family can give is a home where God’s will is loved more than worldly success.
✝️ Pray for your children’s vocations.
🙏 Teach them generosity and sacrifice.
📖 Give them the examples of the saints.
❤️ And teach them the most important answer a soul can give: yes to God.
