Leo XIV Installs a New Pro-Gay McCarrick-Ordained Bishop in America – Sign Of The Cross

Pope Leo XIV has appointed Bishop Saporito, ordained by Theodore McCarrick in 1992, involved in LGBTQ ministry, and a participant in a closed-door gathering of pro-LGBT bishops, as Bishop of Metuchen. Saporito said he felt “enriched by the exchange of personal stories.” The appointment signals the direction of the American episcopate under Leo XIV.

Meanwhile, a Massachusetts Catholic family is fighting in court to stop their teenage daughter from being given testosterone after she was secretly socially transitioned at school and removed from their custody. Their attorney, Bernadette Broyles, says the case is a collision between Catholic faith, parental rights, and state authority.

From McCarrick-linked bishops to parents losing their children to gender ideology, the pattern is unmistakable. The Church is appointing men who promote the LGBTQ agenda while faithful families are punished for defending Catholic truth. The question is whether Catholics will recognize the direction before it’s too late.
