The new covenant, as described by St. Paul, offers freedom from the slavery of sin and the opportunity to live according to the will of God. This freedom, however, comes with responsibility and requires a choice between living in the truth and love of God and neighbor, or succumbing to the selfishness and slavery of sin and Satan. The question posed is whether we truly desire this freedom and are willing to accept the gift of salvation offered by Jesus Christ.
