The Pentagon is hardening every major U.S. base to run 90 days with no civilian grid, no supply chain, and no outside fuel or water. Rob and Adrian ask what that means for the rest of us.
Fox News Digital reported the FORTRESS initiative on October 25, 2026: portable reactors, microgrids that can disconnect a base from civilian power entirely, wartime-rate stockpiles, and civilian factories pre-identified for defense conversion. Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell put it plainly — “Power is combat now.”
This is a Guns ‘N Rosaries livestream. We read the plan, then we talk about what it implies: a government preparing its own installations to stand alone, and a country of families that has been given no such plan. Prepping, the grid, and the duty of a Catholic household when the institutions around it start planning for a world they can’t reach.
