The story of Nabot and Jezebel highlights the injustice of taking someone’s ancestral land, a violation of Mosaic law. While God’s justice may not be immediately apparent, it will be served in the afterlife. In the meantime, God uses these injustices to help us grow in holiness, teaching us to forgive and respond with charity, even in the face of suffering.
