The Faith That Made the Saints – Excerpta Catechismi

What transformed ordinary men and women into saints?

For two thousand years, the Catholic Faith formed martyrs, missionaries, virgins, monks, confessors, and doctors of the Church. Though they lived in different centuries and nations, they were united by the same Faith, the same sacraments, and the same worship of God.

The saints were not formed by trends, comfort, or worldly success. They were formed by truth, prayer, sacrifice, repentance, and the pursuit of holiness.

The Faith that sanctified them has not disappeared.

It remains the Church’s treasure.

And it still possesses the power to make saints today. ✝️
