Our Blessed Lord gave us shepherds to guard us against the wolves of the world. Sadly, many of these shepherds act like hirelings who have no real care for the sheep entrusted to them, and worse – some are wolves bringing vipers into the sheepfold. This is a big part of what happened in the Vatican this past October.
