In today’s homily, Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, reflects on one of the most sobering questions in Scripture: “Who will be saved?”Jesus speaks of the narrow door and reminds us that salvation is not something to be taken for granted. While many today assume that all good people automatically go to heaven, Christ gives us a wake-up call to take our salvation seriously. The path of discipleship is not always easy, but Jesus has shown us the way, and His Church provides the roadmap through repentance, Baptism, the Eucharist, faith, obedience to God’s will, and authentic love of God and neighbor.
