⚠️ Many Christians believe they can always repent later because God is infinitely merciful. But the traditional Catholic Church warns that this attitude has a name: presumption.
Presumption is not true trust in God’s mercy. It is expecting forgiveness while refusing sincere repentance and conversion. God’s mercy is infinite, but it never removes the necessity of turning away from sin, making a good confession, and striving to amend one’s life.

“Delay not to be converted to the Lord.”
