Reformed Baptist apologist James White is arguably the most prominent anti-Catholic debater in the English-speaking world. In this episode of Catholic Bible Highlights, Kenny Burchard and Dave Armstrong respond to the @AominOrg Dividing Line episode on Acts 15 — where he argues that the Jerusalem Council actually supports sola scriptura, and that the decree of the Council was not inspired or infallible UNTIL later Luke recorded it in the Bible(!!) But Acts 15 records an infallible council whose decree includes the words “it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us”—a council that governed the whole Church, whose decision was binding on every congregation before Luke later inscripturated their decree. That’s not sola scriptura. That’s exactly what Catholics have always claimed.
