The Evidence Skeptics Ignore: The Gospels Were Written Early | Sam Shamoun Answers

Video description
Were the Gospels written late, after the destruction of Jerusalem—or does the internal evidence point to much earlier dates?

In this discussion, we examine Jesus’ prophecy in Mark 13 and Matthew 24, the meaning of “let the reader understand,” and the unfinished ending of Acts. Luke records the martyrdoms of Stephen and James, yet says nothing about the deaths of Peter, Paul, or James the brother of the Lord—and never mentions Jerusalem’s destruction in AD 70.

We also examine Paul’s use of Luke 10:7 alongside Deuteronomy 25:4 as “Scripture” in 1 Timothy 5:18. If Pauline authorship is accepted, Luke’s Gospel was already circulating and recognized during the apostolic period.

Does the evidence support late skeptical dating—or were the Gospels written while eyewitnesses were still alive?
