Is Jesus Christ King of Every Nation? #Shorts #ViralShorts – Excerpta Catechismi

👑 IS JESUS CHRIST KING OF EVERY NATION?

✝️ CHRIST MUST REIGN IN SOCIETY

CAN NATIONS DETHRONE HIM?

We acknowledge Jesus Christ as King inside our churches and homes. But does His authority end when we enter schools, courts, government offices, and the public life of our nations?

Can any government truly place itself beyond the authority of Jesus Christ?

Sacred Scripture declares:

📖 “All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.” — Matthew 28:18 (Douay-Rheims)

Christ possesses universal sovereignty as the Incarnate Son of God and Redeemer of mankind. His authority does not depend upon elections, governments, or human approval.

📜 WHAT POPE PIUS XI TAUGHT

In his 1925 encyclical Quas Primas, Pope Pius XI taught that the Kingship of Jesus Christ extends beyond individuals and families to societies and states.

Civil rulers and public institutions remain accountable to God’s moral law.

Governments must pursue justice, peace, and the common good. Human laws must respect moral truth. Public officials must exercise authority with honesty and responsibility.

Yet Christ’s Kingdom is not an ordinary political kingdom.

The Church and civil government possess distinct responsibilities. No political party, ruler, or nation can identify itself with the Kingdom of God. Faith cannot be created through force, and public religious symbols cannot excuse injustice.

⚖️ WHAT DOES CHRIST’S KINGSHIP REQUIRE?

A judge must uphold justice.

A teacher must serve truth.

A public official must reject corruption.

A parent must form children in virtue.

Every Catholic must strive to fulfill public responsibilities according to God’s commandments.

Christ’s reign in society demands more than ceremonies, declarations, and religious images. It calls for genuine Christian conduct.

👑 THE KING NO NATION CAN DETHRONE

Governments rise and fall. Nations change. Earthly rulers come and go.

But Jesus Christ remains King.

Nations do not make Christ King by recognizing Him. They are called to recognize Him because He is already King.

CHRISTUS VINCIT. CHRISTUS REGNAT. CHRISTUS IMPERAT.

Christ conquers. Christ reigns. Christ commands.
