In this final episode of Hidden Titles of Mary — Part 2: Queenship Explained, we examine three powerful Marian titles:
🕊 Regina Pacis — Queen of Peace
Mary’s queenship is never independent of Christ. Jesus Christ is the true Prince of Peace, and Mary’s dignity and maternal intercession remain entirely subordinate to her Divine Son.
⚔️ Auxilium Christianorum — Help of Christians
For centuries, Catholics have invoked the Blessed Virgin’s maternal intercession in spiritual trials and dangers. Mary does not replace Christ, the one Redeemer; she assists the faithful through her prayers.
⛪️ Mater Ecclesiae — Mother of the Church
Mary’s spiritual motherhood extends to the members of Christ’s Mystical Body. The doctrine of her spiritual motherhood has deep roots in Catholic tradition, while the formal liturgical use of Mater Ecclesiae developed later.
Queen. Helper. Mother.
These titles do not describe different “Marys.” They reveal different aspects of the privileges, intercession, and maternal office of the one Blessed Virgin Mary.
And authentic Marian devotion ultimately leads us to Jesus Christ, her Divine Son. ✝️
